Our Mission

A woman with light brown hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a dark t-shirt, sitting on the ground inside a barn, leaning on her right arm, and lovingly cuddling her black calf with brown markings on its face. The calf is lying on the ground next to her, surrounded by wooden and metal fencing, with a red barn wall in the background.

A HOME FOR EVERY STORY

We ALL have a STORY. At times, we ALL need rescue from something!

Storybook Farm is a place where rescue works both ways.

People <—> Animals

Through rescuing animals and building a faith-filled community, we create space for people to slow down, connect and belong. As animals learn trust and healing; we find that God is doing the same work in us. Christ came to set us free. If you are lugging around a backpack full of rejection, shame, fear, anxiety, addiction, abuse, or identity wounds, then it’s time to surrender. Maybe you’re just tired and need a little timeout. There is something indescribable about the joy and peace when holding, petting, grooming or caring for the needs of an animal.

We need each other!

Whether you come as a regular volunteer or join one of our adult or children's programs our purpose is the same:

To provide a peaceful yet joy-filled place where the interaction of people & animals is supported and embraced with love, compassion, and belonging leading to real FREEDOM.

Storybook Farm is planting seeds of HOPE and JOY with the LOVE of Christ which leads to rescue and restoration for ALL God’s Creatures, Great & Small
