JUNIOR CARETAKERS
Some of our best volunteers at Storybook Farm have been the Junior Caretakers. On Tuesday afternoons we provide children ages 8-12 with the experience of farm chores and animal care. They will get to feed animals, groom animals, grow and tend the vegetable and flower gardens, in a Christ centered environment.

page if you have never been here.Press the sign-up button to register and pay.
If you are bring more than one child, repeat the process and we will give you a $10 refund per additional child on your first session. We want to keep an accurate count as to the number of children attending.

What to Bring
Water Bottle!!
Dress for ALL weather conditions (hot, cold, wind or rain). Be prepared.
MUST HAVE ON close-toed shoes
Bring your Storybook Farm Journal Every Session. (may be purchased) Optional

Gather at the Turquoise Table for Devotion & Discussion
Review and DO specific animal chores for the day: Poop scooping, clean and refresh water troughs, etc.
Animal Care, such as: grooming, animal walks, bunny snuggles/training, etc.
Seasonal: Plant and tend Gardens
“Rose of the Day” discussion and take home application
